Position Description This is a full-time position that will be responsible for management and execution of OCI Release Management processes. This includes owning and infrastructure and application patch releases end to end for all the hosted environments. The primary objective will be to plan for all the releases and facilitating the necessary tasks working with cross functional teams and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in the process and redefining/changing the process in response to change in internal/external variables including operational constraints. Primary Duties Acts as the primary point-of-contact for execution of Release Management process. Responsible for yearly/quarterly/monthly/daily planning of release execution. Establish release plans working with different stakeholders across cross functional teams. Establish roles and responsibilities for Release Management process. Track that all the pre release and post release activities are being conducted as per plan and as per the established SOP. Ensuring that all the release patches are validated by the competent teams. Provides support to cross functional teams involved in release execution. Prioritize application and infrastructure patches working with the relevant compliance teams. Coordinate all the release activities on actual deployment day. Keeps a constant focus on continuous process improvement. Regular assessment of executed releases to identify improvement opportunities and lessons learned. Ensuring proper propagation of improvement/mitigation plans to relevant teams with clear cut accountabilities. Establish touch points for various operational process such as Incident Management and Change Management. Secondary Duties Gain understanding of other OCI Processes to backup other process areas (Change, Config, etc) Assist in development of determining tool improvements Required Skills ITIL Foundation Certification required. Ready to work in 24x7 model on need basis. Ready to work on weekends and in shifts. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills. Must have excellent leadership qualities and be comfortable taking charge in high pressure situations. Minimum 5+ years’ of Service Management experience. Bachelor’s Degree. Preferably in Computer Science, Business or significant related experience in IT. Lays out work in a well-planned and organized manner and has strong ability to clearly document process design elements. Fosters open dialogue and always maintains two-way dialogue with others on work and results.

Coordinates all aspects of internal information system-specific projects from initiation to delivery. Projects often involve network, server, or software implementation and upgrades, PC deployment and the like. Coordinates work performed by IT staff and internal customers/partners by defining project specifications, performing feasibility and needs/impact assessments. Develops detailed project plans and manages all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training and on-time delivery within budget constraints. Duties and tasks are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Typically 5 years of project management, product design or related experience needed.
