Senior Manager, Process Transformation Office



This position acts as an expert on :a:Project Management methods and tools to prioritize, advise or lead cross:functional, :a:global projects that improve the delivery capability and efficiency of Global Business Services. The position requires strong collaboration, communications, leadership and change management skills as well as experience driving large:scale transformations.



Key Responsibilities

: Business Partnership

: Work with strategic business partners and other shared services leaders to proactively identify, prioritize, facilitate and lead programs for Global Business Services
: Support the delivery team within Asia with program management capabilities
: Project/Program Management

: Core skills
: ANALYZE PROBLEMS: Quantify project findings and synthesize results.
: MAKE RECOMMENDATIONS: Document and present project conclusions to businesses, functions and senior management.
: IMPLEMENT: Facilitate the successful implementation of Service Infrastructure recommendations
: Document and present project conclusions and deliverables to businesses, functions and management with recommendations. Demonstrate proficiency effectively presenting complex topics in an easy:to:understand manner and facilitating meetings with Directors, Vice Presidents, and Business owners.
: Create solid business cases and selling messages to articulate the value proposition to advocate for and support the change.
: Direct and/or indirect management of the budget for one or more projects/programs
: Lead multiple/complex implementations by developing and executing well:structured work plans, facilitating project and sponsor meetings, managing project budget/expenses, and using Lean Business Process tools/ methodologies and Project Management tools/methodologies

: Lead, oversee and influence others, especially to deliver projects on:time, on:budget, and to achieve/exceed the project goals.

: Facilitate issue escalations and resolution via coordinating solution development across the project team, steering committee, and key business stakeholders

: Analyze root cause problems and process mapping, assessing metrics, quantifying project findings, benchmarking performance, and synthesizing results. Recommend and implement methods to sustain improvements through metric and control monitoring

: Make continuous improvement recommendations and present project conclusions to businesses, functions and management by leveraging leading practices, monitoring performance metrics, and benchmarking performance across end:to:end business processes



: Leadership
: Ability to manage and inspire a cross:functional global project teams
: Ability to directly manage and act as a local matrix manager to Global Business Services team members
: Motivate, mentor and teach others the principles and tools of Project Management with the ability to share examples across end:to:end processes, offer alternatives, and provide constructive feedback to create a culture of continuous improvement throughout Boston Scientific
: Foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives.
: Demonstrate proficiency effectively presenting complex topics in an easy:to:understand manner and facilitating meetings with with Directors, Vice Presidents, and Business owners
: Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
: Global awareness and sensitive to multiple cultures




Performance Outcome Criteria:

: Performance improvement metrics (e.g. reduced cycle time, improved working capital) and business case realization.
: Client feedback regarding project quality, timeliness, effectiveness and the SI Leaders effectiveness in fulfilling job responsibilities
