Role Overview:
Performs varied professional accounting or financial work requiring the standardized application of well:established Corporate Policies and Management Instructions, principles, concepts, and practices. Makes day:to:day decisions concerning the process and people. Is expected to recommend solutions to complex problems and to propose system changes for approval at higher levels. Develops sound, practical solutions to a wide range of accounting, financial, tax problems apart from the core process area knowledge. Requires regular use of resourcefulness and independent judgment
Guidance is available from a higher level as needed. Work is reviewed for approach, technical accuracy, adequacy of professional judgment, and compliance with corporate policies and procedures. Process deliverables, accounting concepts, team goals and objectives, policies, procedures, and techniques are available for day:to:day application.
Effectively supervising and controlling the day:to:day operational executions of the T and E and Relocation processing including all sub:process areas within the agreed service timelines. Managing and planning work volume management along with the team leads to ensure optimum and equitable work allocation. Ensuring team adherence to office timings, rules and protocols. Managing individual goals/performance throughout the year to ensure alignment with team goals and objectives. Point of contact for the team and other office locations, departments, and internal/external stakeholders for the fulfillment of job requirements. Point of contact for clients, vendors, banking personnel, and auditors as required.
Managing the daily team operations by meticulously planning and executing the operations which consists of volume evaluation, resource planning, review of tasks and ensuring completion of activities during the day. Facilitating, managing and maintaining the timeliness of the process deliverables, including KPI's, as per the internally/externally agreed service levels and timelines. Coordinating with the leads to ensure optimum resource utilization and effective productivity. Ensuring process adherence to the Global Corporate Policies, procedures, and Management Instructions relating to T and E and Relocation processing. Managing leads and analysts/processors with the objective of consolidating the individual's strengths optimally and facilitating an environment of learning, development, and growth while upholding the values and covenants of the organization. Measuring and managing the team's performance by providing adequate training, mentoring and feedback sessions, and taking corrective measures to enhance team productivity. Complete comprehensive performance appraisals and reviews of the team within the established timelines. Assisting the manager and process owners in goal setting and aligning the daily operations to strive towards the goals. Supporting process change management and initiatives for the team. Supporting the internal and external audits and developing internal controls to mitigate process gaps if required. Assisting management in solution of more complex problems.
Basic Qualification:
: Bachelor Degree in Commerce, Economics, or Accounting
: 5+ years' experience focused on business travel and relocation expense processing, account reconciliation, and customer service
: Experience with expense management tools and ERP financial applications, preferably Concur and Oracle, respectively
: Must have legal right to work in India without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
: Master's Degree in Commerce/Business Management
: Previous supervisory experience
: Analyzing and problem solving techniques as applied to accounting or tax areas.
: Semi:Qualified Cost/Chartered Accountant
: Good knowledge of reporting tools like Cognos, Business Objects, QlikView
: Advanced excel
: Six Sigma certification and/or experie
